Welcome to Alaskan Northwest Adventures

Experience the truly remote Alaska wilderness and hospitality!

Alaskan Northwest Adventures

You can visit Alaska and check off all the typical tourist attractions, but if you come to Nome/White Mtn and visit us at Alaskan Northwest Adventures, you'll experience something deeper. We invite you to be part of our way of life: sharing our culture through food, gathering, hunting, and even learning how we process what we harvest. Across Alaska, you'll find people who live closely with the land, but with us, you're welcomed into our home to truly live our lifestyle alongside us. People often say that we spend our year moving from one harvest to the next, and that's exactly what you'll experience here.

Where is Nome, Alaska?

Nome, Alaska is located on the southwest coast of the Seward Peninsula, on the state's west coast, roughly halfway up Alaska. It's just a couple hundred miles south of the Arctic Circle and a few hundred miles across the Bering Sea from the eastern coast of Russia.

What is Alaskan Ecotourism?

Alaskan ecotourism gives us the opportunity to connect visitors with the vast wilderness and vibrant culture of Northwestern Alaska. Our goal is to share what we know and love about the place we've called home our entire lives. Through years of living on the land and sea, we've experienced many aspects of this incredible region, and we’re excited to pass that knowledge on to you.

Are you ready to experience the rugged, untamed Arctic wilderness? Based out of Nome/White Mtn, we offer unique adventure trips and fishing trips across the Seward Peninsula; a nutrient-rich environment that supports an abundance of marine life, including king crabs, beluga whales, and seals.

At Alaskan Northwest Adventures, we promote ecotourism adventure trips not only to offer unforgettable experiences, but also to help preserve our culture and environment for future generations. We warmly invite you to join us and discover our corner of the world on your next Alaskan adventure trip.
